The black great dane, frequently sighted at Mark’s Auto Sales in Lakewood Colorado, this weekend participated in the 19th annual Furry Scurry benefiting the Denver Dumb Friends League. “Cooper,” the great dane, is part of the Mark’s Auto Sales family related to Mark’s Auto Sales owners and founders.
Cooper along with his guardian and MarksAutoSales.com website marketing manager Staci raised money for this year’s Furry Scurry and recognizes Mark’s Auto Sales for making donations this year.
According to the Denver Post the event was attended by 12,000 people and 5,000 dogs. Many alumni of the DDFL were in attendance as well as purebred dogs, and dogs from other rescues.
It was a wonderful event to spend time with, and be grateful for pets and recognize the Colorado pets that will continue to need support in the future.
